KOH SAMUI

Koh Samui Island - Suratthani Province - Gulf of Thailand.
Located in the Gulf of Thailand, 700 km south of Bangkok and 35 Km from the east coast (Suratthani Province), Koh Samui is the largest island among an archipelago of 85 islands. With its 228 km2, Samui is the second largest island in Thailand and is famous for its coconut plantations.
Since the opening of Samui International Airport in 1991 (North East of the island), Koh Samui has developed into a holiday resort island and remains a popular destination for travelers.

Although famous for its long white sand beaches surrounded by clear turquoise blue water, the interior of the island is still untouched and is dominated by tropical jungle and mountains.
On the west coast of the island is the original capital Nathon, where you have two of the island's major piers with car & passenger ferries from / to the mainland (Raja Ferries and Seatran Ferries). Commercial activities are mainly located in Chaweng and Lamai.

To the north of Koh Samui are the famous islands of Koh Phangan, Koh Tao, and Koh Nang Yuan.
To the far west are 44 other islands which together compose the Mu Koh Ang Thong National Park which is accessible by day-trip boat tours from Koh Samui.

Nowadays, tourism, coconut industry and fishing are the main sources of incomes on the island.

Beach towels for our guests are available, free of charge.

Our small restaurant is open from 08.00 to 17.00. (08.00 to 14.00 during Low Season)
Breakfast sets, appetizers, salads, sandwiches and a selection of Thai dishes are served all day long.
